(Short Bio):

 Patrick Miguel Bishop was born in small-town, Madison, Georgia, on October 8, 1970 where he lived for 17 years of his life before relocating to Athens, Georgia, where he stayed until he went off to college in Milledgeville, Georgia. Patrick grew up performing on stage in drama and dancing in talent shows during his grade school years and he became serious about his writing during his senior year of high school, writing songs, short stories, plays and poems. After, some years of college, Patrick decided to venture into the world of modeling and acting where he was able to do some work and learn the ‘inner-workings’ of the industry. He relocated to California in 1998 where he became a Youth Counselor working with at-risk youth and gang members, making a positive impression upon their lives, all the while writing and seeking out talent agents for work in Hollywood. Patrick has traveled to and had the pleasure of living in multiple places, having some great experiences and meeting some great people, which have inspired his writings and motivated him to become a published author and motivated him to want to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth and show how education plays a huge part in the success of their lives. Patrick resides in Washington, DC at the present time promoting his first collection of poetry and writing his first full-length novel, inspiring others to be the best that they can be and to never allow their dreams to die. At age 40, he is still ‘Tilting at Windmills and Dreaming big Dreams.’
